Agents on Gold Medal FAM Trip are the first to ride the rides at
Universal Epic Universe

To celebrate Gold Medal’s Florida 2024-25 brochure that launched last year, the flagship B2B brand of dnata Travel Group UK, Gold Medal gave agents the chance to join them on a FAM trip to Universal Orlando Resort. Last weekend, six lucky agents embarked on this unforgettable trip that including a first look at Universal Epic Universe – the brand-new theme park in Orlando that is scheduled to open in May 2025.

 

Dave Cole, Senior Business Development Manager Universal Destinations & Experiences, confirmed that “the agents on this FAM trip were the very first international travel agents to visit and ride the new rides in the park and to fully experience the theme park’s five immersive worlds”.

 

He added, “When it officially opens on 22nd May, it will be the first new theme park in Orlando for 26 years.”

 

Karen Fletcher, Trade Partnerships Director shared, “We are thrilled that our FAM group was the first group of agents to explore the highly anticipated Epic Universe. We had countless entries into this incentive prize with so many agents wishing to see it too – our winners were thrilled.”

During the four-night trip, the agents also visited Universal Volcano Bay, enjoyed the classic thrills at Universal Studios, explored the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and embraced the dazzling floats at the Universal Mardi Gras parade.
