DNATA UK B2B BRANDS SAY WEB ENHANCEMENTS HAVE RESULTED IN
INCREASED BOOKINGS

Dnata Travel Group UK B2B brands Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys have
reported a record-breaking start to January peaks, following a successful Sunshine Saturday. Although still
early days, the brands have shared that they are already identifying popular destinations and trends in
booking behaviour.
Within Asia, the demand for Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam is growing, as well as Sri Lanka which has seen a growth in room nights by over 250% compared to the previous year.
One of Gold Medal’s top destinations, Dubai, is proving popular also with demand +25% year on year.
Simon Applebaum, Managing Director dnata Travel Group UK B2B shared, “Our brands have seen a strong
start to peaks, following the launch of four brand-specific campaigns. Our sales team are coping well with the
demand we are seeing, but it is also apparent that agents are utilising our website to make bookings too. Our
web sales are +40% year on year which is really promising to see, following the enhancements we made last
year to our online functionality.”
Gold Medal have also seen Disney room nights growth hit +35% compared to the previous year, which follows
the release of their Disney Gift Card offer inclusion. Agents who book Florida package holidays for 2024 with
Gold Medal will secure for their customers a $200 Disney Gift Card, plus up to four free nights. Gold Medal
also have Disney 2025 now available to book, so expect to see continued growth.
